The Swami Vivekananda Foundation, founded and managed by Swami Chetan in 1998 in Uttarkashi, Himalayas, is providing a holistic education to the poor children of the mountains.

The Foundation manages the following programs:

The Swami Vivekananda Foundation School, Ganeshpur, Uttarkashi.
This is a holistic kindergarten and primary school for Class I-V standard (in English and Hindi), with the potential to expand to a secondary school (Class VI-XII) in the future.
