On 1 June 2004, we created a free vocational center for poor girls and widows (the Hariharananda Nari Kalyana Kendra) in the Bhim Ghoda neighborhood of Haridwar, at the foothills of the Himalayas. Open 6 days a week, we teach them sewing, cutting, embroidery, knitting, reading and writing, devotional singing, prayers, as well as provide moral and spiritual lessons.
