100,000 people attended the opening of the the Shrine of Our Lady of La’Vang. Persecuted Catholics sought refuge at the end of the eighteenth century. One day, as the community was assembled in prayer, the figure of a beautiful lady, in a long cape, surrounded by many lights and with a child in her arms, accompanied by two angels. Mother Mary has continued to appear.
