Gorakanath,
a.k.a. Gorakshanath (late 10th-early 11th century?), master yogi, founder
of the Kanphata Yogis, an order of religious ascetics who stress the
practice of Hatha Yoga. He is said to have even surpassed his guru
Matsyendranath in his mastery of yoga.
He is the author of the
Goraksha Shataka.
