“God give thee of the dew of heaven, and the fatness of the earth, and plenty of corn and wine.”
- Genesis 27:28

Isaac, son of Abraham and Sarah. He was the father of the rivaling twins, Jacob and Esau.

His Hebrew name Yitzhak comes from the word yitshaq, meaning "laughter".
