Jesus Christ
a.k.a. Jesus of Nazareth

“The kingdom of God comes not with observation.
Neither shall they say, ‘Lo here!’ or, ‘lo there!’ for, behold,
the kingdom of God is within you.”

- Luke 17:20-21

Jesus of Nazareth (1st century CE) was, according to the four Gospels, the son of God and Mother Mary, a humble Jewish peasant woman who received the annunciation from the archangel Gabriel that she was to give birth to the son of God while remaining a virgin.

After disappearing for a period of eighteen years (between the age of twelve and thirty), Jesus came to John the Baptist and received the Christ consciousness from the Holy Spirit, thereby becoming Jesus the Christ.

For three years, he preached the message of God's love for all His creatures throughout the land of Israel, before being crucified in Jerusalem. His Aramaic name, Yeshua, means "salvation." Yeshua is itself a contracted form of Yehoshua, meaning "The Lord who is salvation."
