“To overcome evil with good is good,
to resist evil by evil is evil.”

Muhammad (570-632 CE), the Prophet who received the revelation of the Koran ("Recitation") from the Archangel Gabriel, and went on to found the religion of Islam ("Holy Submission.")

His Arabic name means "praiseworthy", and is derived from the word hamida "to praise."
