Padre Pio da Pietrelcina (1887-1968), a stigmatic priest, miracle-worker, and embodiment of charity. He had dedicated himself to Jesus since the age of five.

His mass and confessions were attended by thousands of people at a time in the small village of Rotondo where he resided most of his life.
