Peace Pilgrim (?-1981), the great American female saint.
She walked penniless for nearly 30 years all over North America to spread
her gospel of peace, depending solely on the grace of God for her
sustenance, without ever asking for assistance for her physical needs.

Her personal motto was: "I will
walk until given shelter and fast until given food, remaining a wanderer
until mankind has learned the way of peace."
