James Lynn
(1892 - 1955) was a self-made millionaire in the oil and
insurance industry. After meeting his guru Paramahamsa Yogananda in 1932,
he quickly progressed to the highest state of realization through Kriya
Yoga.
He was appointed Paramahamsa Yogananda's spiritual successor in
1952, a post he held until his passing away in 1955.
